Calista Flockhart has followed in Pamela Anderson’s footsteps by opting for minimal makeup for her most recent appearance.
Flockhart, 60, made the appearance at the The New Group’s 30th Anniversary Gala in New York.
The Ally McBeal star wore a chic black suit for the appearance alongside Christian Slater and Stella Marcus.

Husband Harrison Ford did not attend the event.
Pamela Anderson, 57, has turned heads in recent months by choosing minimal or no makeup for her recent appearances.
She explained the decision on Live with Kelly and Mark on January 8, saying she saves a lot of time by forgoing glam.
“Oh, I’ve saved a lot of time,” she said, adding that she “used to say that I spent half my life in a makeup chair.”

Anderson explained she does “little blush sometimes, a little lip colour”, as Flockhart has done for her outing, but then goes back to natural.
The Baywatch icon first started going makeup-free after the death of her makeup artist in 2019, making headlines around the world when she appeared at Paris Fashion Week in 2023 sans makeup.
“I don’t know, something just kind of came over me and I was dressing in these beautiful clothes and I thought, ‘I don’t want to compete with the clothes,'” she said.
“I’m not trying to be the prettiest girl in the room. I feel like it’s just freedom,” Anderson added.
Like Anderson, Flockhart seemed thrilled with her choice, choosing just a little blush and lip gloss but foregoing a heavy base and eye makeup.
Singer Alicia Keys caused a stir when she stopped wearing makeup in 2020.

During an episode of Today in the US she explained: “It doesn’t have anything to do with makeup or no makeup.
“It has to do with who are you, what makes you feel good, how do you want to express that and even just asking the questions — What do I feel? How do I feel good? However that is, you should do it.”

Flockhart’s latest project was FX anthology series Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans alongside Naomi Watts, which was based on the bestselling book of the same name.
Of her star turn on Ally McBeal, Flockhart has said she is ready for a reboot.
“I would love to do some sort of reboot on some of Ally McBeal,” Flockhart told Vanity Fair
“I had such a wonderful time at the Emmys, reuniting with my buddies, and dancing goofy with them. It just was so much fun. It was a highlight of my year. It was so much fun, and now we group text.”
At the 2024 Emmys Flockhart was joined by her co-stars Greg Germann, Gil Bellows, and Peter MacNicol to present an award, with the four dancing on stage together.
