Meghan Trainor opened up about the results of her recent boob job, and it looks like she couldn’t be happier.
In a video posted as part of a paid partnership with Motiva USA, a medical tech company that designs body implants, the “All About That Bass” singer spoke about how she had been wanting to get her boobs done for years, and that she recently underwent surgery. “As you know, I’m in a super busy chapter of my life. I’ve been touring, working, and mommying really hard. So recently, I decided to do something just for me.”
The 31-year-old mother of two spoke about her new “healthier lifestyle” and weight loss, noting that she “couldn’t be happier with her decision” and excitedly sharing that she’s “so obsessed” with the results.
“I’ve always struggled with loving my boobs before I got them done,” Meghan revealed. “They were never even and were always sagging my whole life,” she continued, showing a clip from before her surgery. Showing her new look, she said, “Honestly, they look and feel amazing.”
As part of the ad, Meghan noted that she consulted with a board-certified plastic surgeon before deciding to undergo surgery and encouraged viewers to do the same. “I love my results so much,” she said before joking, “They are finally twin sisters and not distant cousins.”
Opening up further about her decision to get surgery, Meghan told People this week, “I have never been more comfortable in my body. Maybe it’s because I’m in my 30s now and I’m better. I’ve been working with a therapist for a long time, trying to rewire my brain to love myself more. It’s always something like a work in progress, and that’s why I write all these anthemic songs of, ‘I love myself,’ because it’s constantly a thing that I’m working on and I notice my fans are also working on that. So that’s how we connect.”
Meghan noted that before her surgery, she’d been experiencing mixed feelings about her old breasts. A few days before the big day, she said that she had been feeling “so ready,” and that she “would look at them like, ‘those aren’t mine. This is so weird. Get these off.’” However, the day before, she had an emotional moment. “I cried,” she shared, continuing, “I was like, ‘You guys got me bullied. You didn’t make much milk for me for my babies. You always had to be duct taped to my chin. I love you and thank you for all you’ve done for me, but also goodbye.’ It was dramatic and I started crying.”
Despite the conflicting emotions, it seems like Meghan couldn’t be happier about her results. Folks in the comments of her video congratulated her as well, with one user saying, “Hell yeah girl love yourself and do what you need to in order for you to love your body,” and another adding, “So happy for you!!! You’ve wanted this for sooo long! You deserve all of the things!!! 🫶🏻”
