Olivia Culpo is pregnant!
The model and actress – who notably won Miss Universe in 2012 – has announced she and her husband, San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey, are expecting their first child.
Taking to Instagram this morning, Culpo, 32, wrote alongside a photo showing her cradling her growing baby bump: “next chapter, motherhood 🤍”.

Culpo also shared a video with her 5.5 million followers, where the 28-year-old NFL star and his wife, wearing a white gown, are seen walking around a field, holding hands, and posing for photos together.
“🤍🤍,” Culpo wrote in her caption of the footage, which also showed the couple posing with their ultrasound photos.
The beauty pageant alum and McCaffrey married in June in Rhode Island, Culpo’s home state.

“It’s the beginning of the rest of your life and it’s the union and bond of two people forever,” Culpo told Vogue ahead of the wedding.
Culpo and McCaffrey’s nuptials, however, soon made headlines for all the wrong reasons, as Culpo’s choice of a traditional Dolce & Gabbana ballgown for her wedding dress was subject to criticism on social media.
Of her style decision, Culpo had told Vogue before the wedding that she “didn’t want to exude sex in any way, shape or form.”

That comment sparked backlash, with one stylist taking to her verified Instagram account @gowneyedgirl claiming Culpo’s comments to Vogue pushed an agenda “of what she thinks all brides should look like”.
Culpo, however, later told People she was “definitely very surprised” when she learned of the uproar online.
”I feel like I personally like to gives people the benefit of the doubt,” she said. “And unfortunately, I feel like the words I said were spun out of context to fit an agenda that I did not have.”

Culpo said her dress choice came down to wanting to “feel like myself in every sense of the word” on her big day.
“I think that that’s where my decision to be more pared down came in,” she told the magazine.
The renowned model notably skipped mascara and eyebrow gel on her wedding day to obtain the natural, simple look.

Culpo and McCaffrey announced their engagement in a joint post shared to Instagram in April 2023, having been rumoured to have started dating in May 2019.
They shared photos of McCaffrey getting down on one knee in Utah, as well as a photo of Culpo’s engagement ring, which features a large oval diamond and epaulette side stones.
“We tried to keep this quiet for as long as possible, but apparently word travels fast,” Culpo wrote on her Instagram Story at the time. “I’m marrying my best friend, I love you so much, fiancé.”
