Suzhal 2 : Kathir & Aishwarya Rajesh lead a twisted murder mystery

Prime Video has released the exciting trailer for Suzhal—The Vortex Season 2, the much-awaited sequel to its hit Tamil crime thriller. Created by Pushkar and Gayatri and directed by Bramma and Sarjun KM, the series brings back Kathir and Aishwarya Rajesh, along with a stellar cast. It premieres on February 28 in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada, with English subtitles.  

This season takes place in the village of Kaalipattanam during the Ashtakaali festival, where the murder of activist lawyer Chellappa (Lal) shakes the community. Sub-Inspector Sakkarai (Kathir) takes charge of the case, uncovering a tangled web of secrets and crime. Eight women, who seem to have no connection, become prime suspects, while Nandini (Aishwarya Rajesh) struggles with her past and an uncertain future behind bars.  

The creators promise an even more gripping and intense story this time. Kathir says the series has redefined Tamil storytelling, while Aishwarya Rajesh hints at shocking twists ahead. With high-stakes drama, deep mysteries, and unpredictable turns, Suzhal—The Vortex Season 2 is set to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
