Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 4 gets a new release date

Tom Holland is all set to return as the friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man in Spider-Man 4. The upcoming film is one of the most anticipated projects on Marvel’s slate. However, it looks like fans will have to wait a little longer. The film’s release date has been pushed back by a week.

As per reports in The Hollywood Reporter, the new release date of Spider-Man 4 is set for July 31, 2026. The film will arrive after Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, which also features Holland. The Nolan directorial is set for a July 17 release.

Spider-Man 4 arrives after a rather dark chapter in Peter Parker’s life. After the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, the web-slinger has some serious problems to deal with. The upcoming film will be directed by Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings director Destin Daniel Cretton.

Tom Holland gives a production update

Appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Tom confirmed that production for the film is set to begin in mid-2025. “Next summer, we start shooting. Everything’s good to go — we’re nearly there,” Holland revealed. “Super exciting. I can’t wait!”
